jam plug plate dilemma

Hi!
I'm new to the forum and I have a plate/plug question:

A few years ago I purchased a Roll Line Giotto plate and I love it!! Previously I skated on a Roll Line Variant and before that a Sure Grip Classic. My issue is that I miss doing moves/spins on the jam plug and I'm tearing up my boot. When I skated on the Variant plate I often bottomed out on the jam plug, which is why I went NTS.

For the past couple years I've been focusing on snapping and I'm a big fan of J-Roc, so my style is an amalgam. I'm guessing I can't have it all, but if anyone knows of a plate with the edge control of a Roll Line and plug clearance I'd love to hear about it.

No plate has the edge control of any roll-line but what exactly do you mean by plug clearance?

Metric threaded toe stops are limited, sae threaded toe stops are numerous, as I'm sure you're aware, thick thin tall short and the shafts can be hollowed out aluminum cut to size by you, have you played with plate placement front to rear to find the best balance point vs length of toe stop, a forward plate requires much less lift of the heel.

The plugs I skated on the variants and the sure grip classics were the same size and the mount was the same but the classics had more clearance between the skate and the floor when doing toe moves (grapevine/matrix etc..).
