Question Where to Quad Skate in the D.C. area...

I'm training for work for the next 4 weeks here in Gaithersburg, MD and I was wondering if anyone is from this area and knows where to skate???
Please let me know... I'm bored out of my mind

Unfortunately, there are no skating rinks in D.C., other than an outdoor rink in Anacostia National Park...

Maryland has the most rinks...

Wheels Skating Center in Odenton is an excellent facility...

Also, there's Laurel Roller Skating Center in Laurel...

And Skate Zone in Crofton...

Seabrook Skating Center in Lanham doesn't have a website, but here's some video shot there...

D'Lite Skate N Palace in Temple Hills, across the street from a Metro subway stop, had a website, but I can't get it to work anymore. Here's another website that lists the rink...

Finally, there's a nice rink out in Manassas, Virginia...

Enjoy!

Default Anacostia outdoor rink...clean enough for indoor wheels?

Okay, we've been in NoVa for almost three years and I haven't been roller skating since we got here. I tried ice skating for a while since there's ice nearby...but my husband told me about the rink he passes while biking in Anacostia (brave man). He doesn't think it's that bad. But what is the floor like? Is is smooth enough and clean enough for indoor wheels? Anyone tried it? Can you just go whenever?
