FROM SKATELOG FORUM HOST KATHIE FRY IN MARCH OF 2020:
This announcement is to let everyone know that after hosting the SkateLog Forum and its predecessors for nearly 20 years, I have decided it is time to permanently turn the forum over to a new owner and administrator. I cannot think of anyone more suitable to take on that role than my SkateLog forum co-host, Florida skater Jessica Wright. I am pleased to announce that Jessica has agreed to establish and host a brand new skating forum, configured like the SkateLog Forum, but with a new name and a new Web Site. This new forum is 100% owned and operated by Jessica.

NEW FORUM NAME: SkateDebate Forum
NEW WEB SITE: SkateDebate.com
NEW OWNER AND ADMINISTRATOR: Jessica Wright

In general though, skaters will be competing on INLINE figure skates.. Many inline types are used in Europe, including all brands.. Or is this a sponsored competition where the above mentioned brand will be offering some kind of endorsement or support?? If so, that is great..

Post International inline figure skating Open in Paris

The Paris open is sponsored by G.R.I.P. Ice and Roller Skating of Paris and is santioned by the Federation Francaise Roller Skating.

The type of skate required to compete must have a toe oriented brake (pic). There are several models made by at least 4 different companies. However, these skates are not widely distributed.

No problems, I thought you were advocating the 'pic skate' given your user name... as there is a skate of that name!!! yes, many brands.. good luck, I hope there are a few skaters participating..

I will put something on my site also...
