Nice review. I still skate Salomons but these new style "boots" definitely are intriguing, especially the fact that you can take them off and keep walking around in the shoes. Maybe I'll try them some day but for now my 3 pairs of Salos should outlast me and if they don't there are plenty to be found cheap used.

Also, thanks for the tip about making sure to get a grove established on the Kizer Type M frames. One of my Salos are set up with those frames and I've yet to break them in.

I should have also added to the grooving part to try find a rounded unwaxed ledge/curb as the groove will be better. Personal opinion though.

All those Sals. Well I had Sals. Great skates. Take a beating as well lol
