That is about the funniest darn picture I have ever seen.....now, why on earth would grown men agree to skate, in public, in what look like great big diapers? WTF?! No democracy on THAT team, eh?!, cuz there surely woulda been a few NO F-in WAY votes cast from what I could imagine!

And, yes, it will be a screaming at the TV GO JOEY moment!! I know there have been alot of great skaters that I missed in my 30 years away from this sport, but I am darn glad I am back to see the great ones that are here now....and watching him blows me away

From that era (late 70's early 80's) of that pic with Cruciani etc , look at the pics of NBA players etc. It was the era of hot pants and mini skirts...

I'm sure if in that era, you showed the NBA players (like Larry Bird, etc) a pic of the flappy droopy shorts worn by todays NBA players, they would think it also pretty lame.

I'll be saving this pic for any, no, every time
somebody makes a comment about skinsuits.
..
At this time, there was no lycra at all in spot suits. We've laughed to at this pants, but whit those nuclear bombs on legs, it was necessary for this people dressing this way.
Not for me (I been always a very poor skater).

He would have me beaten before the race even started. I would have been warming up checking out the competition seen his massive quads and think "have I really done enough training". If I had that ability I would not have covered them up either.

Yeah.
They went all years to my city to the San Antonio's Circuit, and besides his legs and technique, they race whit a strong team strategy. An incredible spectacle.
