Default Foundation Tricks

Hi everyone! I'd like to hear from you what tricks you guys think are essential to have a good foundation in slalom. We all know that slalom is all about the basics. If the basics aren't good anything else goes bad. With that said, here's a list of tricks that are considered foundation tricks as shown in Naomi Griggs' book "The Art of Fallin".

The following tricks should be learned on both your good and bad sides (for example snake leading with the right foot and snake leading with the left foot).

1. Snake and back snake
2. Crisscross, Back Cross, and basket Weave.
3. One foot and back One Foot
4. Nelson and back Nelson
5. Sun
6. Mega

What other tricks would you guys add to this list? Let me know!

Stroll (useful as a transition into various different moves)

I'd add the Crazy to it, and some of its variations like the Crazy Sun.

The moves on your list have something in common, which is constant movement in one direction. The Crazy on the other hand, teaches you how to stop your legs without loosing energy, by directing it into a different direction. It also gives you confidence with "unusual" body balance and wheel grip. These abilities are of immense use beyond the Crazy itself.
