Default No new Threads for a month

Did everyone just die while skating and nothing of interest has transpired for about 30 days? What...I can't hear you.

How about the Olympics? Joey Mantia should so well. Kicked butt in the 1500.
Yes I know, that's on ice. But it is interesting to note that about half of the new competitors are coming over from inline.

So, Inline is the incubation system.

As you may or may not know the US only has 2 covered 400m rinks: Minneapolis MN and Salt Lake City UT.

Severe weather nationwide is likely a factor. I live in New Orleans, LA USA about as Deep South as you can get. Temps the last two nights went down to 25*F with ice. And a lot of cold fronts scatter debris all over the place because of all the trees in the city.

This winter has slowed me down, and that is hard to do. I am good down to about 30* for skating, but not with 20mph steady wind, ice, and debris. I set up the cones in the house!

I also think a lot of skaters post on Endomondo and other social sports sites online instead of message boards.

Yeah, this forum is pretty much dying. Inline Talk is dominating FB right now. I haven't been to Edomondo.

Sometimes, I think that the IT page is a bit much. I turned off all notifications from it, because it was dominating my FB feed. And John needs to stop using the word "them" (name them skaters, etc...).

Must be that local slang. I don't mind the page. Sometimes the posts get duplicated though in too short of time.
