Question Difference Between Seba High & Seba GT

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know the differences between the Seba High and the Seba GT boot?

Which of the two skates is lighter?

Is is just the liner that makes the GT easier to break in or is it because of differences in the boot aswell?

Any reply is appreciated.

Thank you,

other than the frames (they have different frames), i don't think there is a HUGE difference between either.

the seba has a slide guard, the gt does not

on inspection, it looks like the body of the GT boot has elements of fabric-y mesh possibly for comfort, while the high's appear to have a more solid/rigid construction. it's (obviously) best that you go view them yourself in person.

(i can attest that the high is perfectly capable of doing anything the GT is marketed for, i.e street + rec, but i can't guarantee the reverse (can't say the GT is a good slalom boot, which it may not be if the body is not as stiff as the high)

They may not look very different on the outside, but if you try them on you will find they are considerably different - the High is a slalom skate, and the fit is VERY tight. The GT in contrast is a general urban-style skate, with a looser fit.

Both are pretty heavy, but the GT ridiculously so.

The High is a much better boot for what it was designed for - it was once the best slalom skate you could get, whereas the GT is a bit of a meh skate, never really being very good at anything.

Personally I don't like either, and have always preferred the Seba FR1 model. It is also a wider skate and doesn't crush my toes in.
