Default Doping and Skating ?

Hello,

does anyone know what measures are taken against doping in the inline speedskating sport? Using the FIRS own search machine does not lead to any result. Googling delivers one case during the world championships in Suzhou 2005, and in the same press release the statement that the FIRS has adopted the WADA's list of prohibited substances.
Who knows where I can find the FIRS anti-doping regulations and some statistics about the doping tests at speedskating events?

Thanks for any help.
Best regards
Clemens

It is a joke. They do testing but some skaters say 'nope i dont want to get tested' and walk off and there are no penalties. Skaters have proved positive and it has been covered up. Syringes have been found in the toilet blocks next to the world champs cource (italy). The anti doping really neads an overhaul.

The USA tests skaters headed for Worlds, and has disqualified at least one for doping violations. A skater in Canada recently set a world record, and was drug tested to WADA standards. But Alex is basically correct, and his comments are generally true for all sports.

Hi Clemens

There is a 51 page Acrobat (pdf) document on the FIRS website. I'm not to sure if it's what your looking for, but it's a start and you might find more information on:
