There is definitely interest in the products. However, at this time I am too concerned about quality control and poor communication with the company to risk my own money to make this happen at this time.

I will post something if I do decide to make it a "GO."

Thanks for your interest!

I have an Indian friend who is currently overseas, I asked him about bringing some back for me. He was not sure if he was goin to India before he came back or not but I made sure he knew I was serious. I told him what I need in boen size or at least what I thought was right from what I read here. I hope that was a good idea. Crossing my fingers!

I just got my new Bonts with a very short forward Lazer X-Tech and they are massively light....Colin swapped the standard cushions out with blue and purple sure grip ones and they feel amazing. Really want to give these babies a real ride but need to wait a bit for my hammy to heal

Default X-Tech plates & X-tech wheels

These were put together by Flemo last year and have been super stoked ever since. I replaced the cushions with purple SG's and am now runing green and gold Aussie Scott's. The velocity wheels were super sitcky and rolled really well but found it hard to pull any kind of screeching stop and as Mr Scott once said, that's what it's all about...
But overall the X-Tech plate is a fantastic substitute for the Boen and a very fair price at that.

P.S. Just got the net back on up here in Rocky after the floods and would like to thank everyone who helped Queensland with donations and support through this time of need.
Many Thanks

Yeah mate,
The boots are size 44 (Aus 10/US 11) and the plates are Boss Highspeed-7 (axle to axle 170mm)

I skated some yesterday and they were pretty decent plates for the price.

Nice looking boots. I waited too long to buy a set on ebay before and I'm kicking myself for it now. I'd love to hear if anyone decided to get a lot of these boots too. Just FYI.

I'd definitely be interested in obtaining a plate if anyone has access to any.

PM hovercarl. I think he was going to be a dealer in the US. My first impression was they were decent enough plates for the money.

Cool RE: LT's

I had a pair of Bont Derby boots I bought 6 or 8 moths ago and I have been looking for some plates to mount to them. I saw some of these on the buy/sell forum and bought them without thinking twice. (something I almost never do!) They seem O.K.; I mounted them yesterday, but I was all out of 7MM bearings!

I will borrow some wheels off another pair of skates tonight and see how they feel round the house and take some pics.

Additional note about cushions, the Sure grip barrel cushions are much shorter then the stock cushions; substituting those will significantly alter the geometry! Putting a tall king pin nut on might get it back to square, but I only changed to cones on the bottoms & left the stock cushions on top for now! At least until I find some that are a better fit! Need to go to the skateboards shop!

I have SG purple barrels and cones in mine and they skate fine. Yeah the "geometry" is a little off.

I have skated lots of Km on these and they go great. Knock on wood
