Default Wanted

Hello world,

here I go:

I am wearing this year's edition of the helmet for the bladeguards of the world's biggest (?) skate event, the Munich Bladenight (Munich, Germany; more at http://www.24skate.net/home_xmbn.htm). The more creative (or crazy ?) bladeguards have some speedy items on their helmets. This year I chose a pegasus. Unfortunately I forgot to turn on its lights for the picture.

The T-shirt was sent to me by skaters in Zaragoza, Spain, who had the biggest event this year during the third edition of the world-wide 24hour skate which I founded to support UNICEF. I will tell you more about it only later, because I plan to re-ramp the website.
But Zaragoza's report is more than good enough for you (at: http://www.24skate.net/docs/results2...teZaragoza.pdf)

Best regards
Clemens

Well, you're right Janneman, it was pretty lame. Ok, here's one of my favorite photos... four big handsome Swedes from Stockholm giving me a lift on the island of Mallorca...

PS: That's a scary picture of you Janneman! Your avatar is *much* nicer.

Default Helmets

Hi Kathie,

here is another helmet out of my collection:

Unfortunately the crown with blinking LEDs on top of the goose can hardly be recognized on this picture.

How do you like this "sealed" helmet?

May be a dragon brings better luck?

well, since I'm under 18, the most public setting i can get is "Show my profile to anyone under 18" So you have to log in. And be under 18. but you don't have to be my friend.

I'm sorry.

EDIT: At least you can see 1 picture.

I'm the slow one on the left. This is from when I was being a smartass at Northshore and I asked Eddy to take my picture. Eddy is the best!

This was at the finish line of the Seattle MS Skate marathon. Finished in 8th place,
Time: 1 hour, 21 minutes, 1 second (30 seconds behind the winner)

A very good event for me in that i caught the lead pack some 3 or 4 miles into the event, through shear will power, and managed to hold on until about 2 miles before the finish, when i was just too tired out from pulling about 3 times for a total of maybe 4 miles. Got to skate with some great skaters, for which i felt extremely fortunate, including Jeremy Anderson, a Bont sponsored Vet skater, a 2005 USA World Team skater, and the winners of several area marathons.

I had hoped that this event would hone my skills for the upcoming Northshore marathon in Duluth, but unfortunately, the rains came and i opted out. So this was my big race for this year, and as such, the photographer for the event just got me the digital copes of these pics this morning.

Note:- i'd like to be a little lower, but at the end of a marathon on a very tough course, you do the best you can.

Here's a capture of me from a video I took tonight. Of the thousands of photos I've taken of skaters... this is one of the few I have of me (and of course I took it)

The video clip is funny.

Picture from this past summer. My 7 yr old took the pic so I'm actually kind of impressed with her efforts. Because it isn't quite focussed, you can't see all four of my eyes.
