Hi, as a guy 75+ in years, I have to let you all know that it is very possible to over exert every time you do a training run (roll).
My usual session is about 9-1/2 mi completed usually in about 56 minutes. What has led me to believe I have been training too hard is that my resting pulse is staying too high @ 75+ bpm. Used to be around 60-65. So, yesterday I concentrated on holding my roll a bit longer. Yes, speed came down but recovery was faster. I will try this for a few weeks and see what happens.
