BTW your comment "it felt weird to crossover (felt like they were fighting me a little)" is accurate, but not because the sk8s are actively responding to your presence.. They just don't mix well with your old techniques.. Focus on you stance and spend some time doing alternating scissors.. It has several benefits..

1) you will get the feel of the sk8s much quicker.
2) it will strengthen your legs in places you did not know you had places.
3) It will make it easier to sk8 and cross over in the anti derby direction..
DocSk8 you rock, thanks for the info about the plates (and everything else)

Yep, I plan on cleaning first then lubing just need to do some research to see what people are using. I was thinking about getting that bearing stacker thing where I put the liquid in and shake it like a polaroid picture (not the Bont cleaner).

I bought 2 new sets of wheels:
- A mix of Heartless Chaser (92) and Vanish (96)
- Radar Diamonds 94 (the white ones)

I also have some new wheels to try that I borrowed from the blondies but need to get a bearing switcher first.
