Anyone know if an xsjado V-cut style freestyle frame (i.e. without grindrockers) will take 59mm (M1 Trinity) wheels?
http://www.grindhouse.eu/en/Shop/XSJ...ial-Setup.html shows it with 58mm wheels, but it seems there's precious little space left.. I'm in the shopping mood, and a Bit unsure about whether to go for a freestyle or traditional frame. Seems to me gliding off the V-cut, which is extended right next to the wheels, should be a fairly smooth ride, but it's possible a grindrocker setup will be the easier way. Guess you can tell I'm about getting into aggressives, haha ![]() |

the largest I've seen in them without modding is 58's anything else you might be able to roll but if you get any flex in your skate you're in for a hellacious stop.

Yeah, I too have seen them with 58's, but not 59's. Thanks for clarifying this
![]() Maybe not a problem anyways, as I'm thinking of going with a non-freestyle frame, likely one of the Kizer M-series, like the M11. Seems like a good mix between freestyle and a more traditional groove with the grindrockers spaced more apart. |

I've been poking some more. Seems the Kizer Element Howard Frame might take four 59mm wheels.
http://www.grindhouse.eu/en/Shop/KIZ...ard-Frame.html states 60mm outer, 58mm inner, so it doesn't seem unlikely four 59mm might fit. The H-block shape looks decently ok for such a setup, at least to me.. Also seem like a GC FLT II frame will support 4x 59mm. However, many has commented the don't last nearly as long and aren't as fast as the Kizer fluid plastic material, which is also used in the Elements frame. |
