Those are the legendary Boen Special... Left and right plates w/ micrometer reverse king pin....

As far as flip axles...Yes and no... You can still get 'em but they do Not fit all trucks..

No , that was done by a local shoemaker here in Jersey, He stripped the leather & died them Purple.......

Same with the Blue 295's & the Green O's

Killing you?? I had no idea a stopless WIP existed until I got 'em from Broken Joe to fix for susanmcp..... You think I am not looking for a set now?? I have had quite a few pieces come my way that I can't ride and can't find in my size either..... Ya see, even I have a touch of SEDS. Fortunately I work on enough stuff to keep it at bay....

Actually it's an "anodized" paint. It's very hard and dries super fast. If it doesn't hold up i'll strip it off and get the powder coat.

Tim a.k.a "rwbskates" has had the goldish color on his giottos for a while and it still liiks good.

I'm guessing that is about the same. It may be better since is an auto type paint.

I used some stuff made by Krylon that was marketed for painting bikes and scooters.

Very similar, but no lightening slots in mine. Not sure how old these are either...my dad handed them down to me in 1989, and I have no idea how long he had had the plates. I put them on the 395 with a heel, with new wheels/bearings and have been skating on them ever since.

Magnums no sweat.. Navigators?? I'm not really ready to do that yet..... I have to do some more testing...
