Cool my little power boat

My other newly found hobby;

we have a small powerboat - and i'm currently studying to get my licence...

sssstttt dont' tell anybody i already tried full-throttle....

I newly installed a front window - to keep a tad dryer....

I have no GPS, but i'm wild-guessing it does about 30 km/h with two persons in it.

Technical details;
length : 3.30 m (11 foot)
weight : appr. 160 kg
Outboard : Yamaha 250 cc 2-stroke, 11 kW (15 hp)
Name : "neusindewind" (nose in the wind)

It looks nice, hope you get your licence the first time. I miss my dad's boat, theres something about the way the water looks as you floating over it in a boat

Smile welcome !

well, you're quite invited to join the fun - you can ride it if you want too - no problem!
(just take the risk of Eur 300,- for the penalty driving without licence....)

Smile Exam

yippeee - today i did my exam, studied all week. There were some questions I really did not know like: "oh, was that in the book somewhere???"... but just right now the answers are published on the net and i checked.... out of 30 questions I had 27 correct - minimum was 21 (so 9 faults tolerated)... that means i passed

after the neccesary paperwork (aaah burocracy...takes more than 3 weeks...) i may officially use my speedboat

That looks awesome!
We plan to go up to the lake soon and join in on some of those water activities.

I am looking for a remote control boat for my daughter. Her Uncle is a great fan of those boats and has too many small boats. Wondering when he will grow up and buy big ones like you?

great photos thanks for sharing!

Just curious: How do you bring a photo here for this section of the forum?
So if I get the nerve I can too share a bit more.

Cool bigger and better things

it's like skates right... you start off with some old bauers, then rollerblade aero, then speedboots and now kevlar shoes with 100 mm wheels....

So about a year after.... we got ourselves another boat. up for bigger and better... this Castle marine comet of 4,50 meters (14 foot) does about 60km/h with its Mariner 50 hp (2 stroke 4 cylinder) engine

did the last trial yesterday - you should have seen my sons smiling when the boat jumped out of the waves....

Ahh.. You have found my other passion!! I love the water...

I wish that you had to get a license to operate a boat here....Almost anyone can drive and there are too many yahoos that think they know it all when they get behind the wheel of a boat.

Have fun!
