Default slider plates

My new three-wheel Powerslide Swells don't have slider plates like my old Seba FR2s did. I'm not even sure that they're called 'slider plates' - a short piece of plastic attached to the side of the boot, near the big toe. When I do powerslides (still learning!) I sometimes scuff the boot itself on the ground where my skate has been angled sharply, and I don't want to cause them permanent damage. I can't see anywhere on the skate a plate could be attached, even if Powerslide produces them. Does anyone else have this problem or can give me some advice? Thanks!
