Default My aching dogs!!!

After my first summer of non stop slalom skating, I have to say, wow, it's hard on the feet. It's hard on the hips. Oh my aching hips. I used to think people were crazy when they said they "retired" from slalom, but seeing as how hard it is on the body, I can get it. One guy I was talking to said he practiced like 9 hours a day and within 6months was one of the best in the country. It's like a drug, I can't seem to stop. Then when my body is aching, the only thing that makes me feel better is to do more slalom. Do you guys notice that?

Do your bodies hurt? How many hours do you guys skate daily/weekly? What do you do with the aches?
