Default ... finally starting to skate again!

After hardly skating this year (too much work and other things) I found myself reverting to this really insecure old bat on wheels I used to be.
Last month I had 2 people staying and although we had a nice time, I was far too timid and tense.
This Thursday and Friday I met up with a girl from Wales and we skated Rampworx and Ukskatepark.
I was amazed how quickly I started to relax ; at best I need about an hour before I begin to do that! So there was something totally new!!
The next odd thing was that in both skate parks the crowds were amazing!!! bmx/skateboard/skates - everyone was friendly and we all had a great time sharing whatever we decided to skate. It was an awesome atmosphere!!

I did try stuff I can't do (e.g. cess slide in the bowl) and fell so many times - yet I have no bruises to show for it! But I was getting more comfortable dropping into steeper ramps and tackled angle-iron coping

It was all about fun and enjoyment!!! Now I am looking sooooo much forward to the next great session!

Got that right biff, I've been rolling 1-3 times a week and at least in my opinion, have learned something new: how to bail better also FINALLY been getting the hang of topsides, you were supposed to lean away from the obstacle, not right above it..duuh! xD

Glad to hear youre back in business geriatric
