Default Aspiring skate bum!

Ahhhh, Skate Guys' livin' my dream! I am aspiring to be more like SkateGuy, I could use a nap now and again! But the reality is: running a skate shop, running a skate school, coaching, plus running a professional architectural practice has me going 24-7, and then some.... sometimes it gets hard to find time to skate or nap!

Oh, oh... watch out for BTW-sheldon & Erik T.....

I don't have a job, I'm a bum on society...

Actually, I just finished my first year of med school, but I did spend a year working in a special ed high school. And before that, I was in college and had one of those student jobs.

Im an ASP.NET/Javascript/CCS/HTML Web developer. Working on database driven websites for a company that uses the newest technics on web-development. (yeah im proud on my job :P)

Im planning to go by bus to work and back on skates. its a six mile city-ride.

But before that happens, i practice in the forest close to my home, no trafic, asphalt roads trough them..

My SOLE job on this earth is to suck the life force (ie:the Money) from my Husband

I am a stay-at-home-mom to 2 girls. However, before I made that transition, I worked as an OSP Engineer (Telephone) and also in Management for a Telecommunications Construction Firm.

I curently donate time to 2 non-profits. I serve on the Management team of a local support group for Mothers ( www.triadmommies.com ) and I also serve as the Treasurer for my daughters Band Boosters Program.

My main job is a mechanical engineer designing lifting devices for use in steel mills. For my skating requirement, I am a floor guard at the local rink. And, I am a general handyman / lawn service / landscaper for people in the neighborhood. The last job is by far the most demanding and it keeps me going full tilt during the summer.

All jobs are great brikkee. I'm not a suit&tie all day sitting person and it's good. In fact people often feel more admiration for hand workers like us that they can see everyday, doing things they wouldn't do in a lifetime even if they tryed.

Ok... Lets see if I can keep this straight...

My day job: I do electronic prepress and Graphic Design for a very small print shop in Northeastern Ohio.

I also work at my local roller rink as a floor guard.
I work with a local community theatre as their stage manager on some shows. (So does my wife)
I have also worked at Ren Fairs in Ohio, Michigan and North Carolina as a juggler (that were my handle comes from)
