With the exception of an influx of fresh meat derby girls, it seems pretty flat. The core regulars have not changed in years. You see some newer folks who come in and become regulars, but at the same time, a few older regulars, or semi-regulars drop off. It is certainly not like indoor rinks are getting more and more crowded. And after one of my rinks closed, only a couple of the regulars from that rink surfaced somewhere else, so those now the old regulars from that rink are gone. At another rink I go to, it looks like another class of teens are "aging out" and coming less often, or not at all and the old tweens are now the new class of teens at the rink. I don't know about the outdoor inline crowd, but the indoor rink crowd seems relatively flat.

Default Nationals

Quote from skater at nationals;

Well, the National floor is "UNSKATEABLE", coaches meeting @ 1pm to determine what to do, practice has been canceled, racing was SUPPOSED to begin at 2:30.... NOT GOOD!!

The Roll-On bubbled up. There is a coaches meeting at 1 to present options.... Have NO idea what they will do, I can only imagine that they will have to lay the traveling floor, but there will be no time to coat it...

I just saw that on FB. What a disaster. I hope they figure it out quickly.
