Default durometer, material and profile.

how does durometer material and profile affect slalom. I am looking for new wheels. I see alot of wheels made from a clear material but i think the opaque wheels are stronger and less flexible.

Are you too young to remember Mommy Dearest, the scene where she's screaming, "No wires hangers EVER!!!!" NO CLEAR WHEELS EVER! Go back to slalom forum and look down about 3 threads, there's one about wheels. Look at Boris' reply.

I bought my son some new skates with clear wheels 80 durometer on Saturday. On Tuesday I already had to replace several wheels. Elliptical wheels with 84 durometer are my favorite for slalom, but it's really up to you.
