Default How should a 'perfect fit' feel?

Hi,

I recently bought Seba Igor skates (size 43), I bought them 1 size smaller then my Seba FR Deluxe (size 44). My Igors are so comfortable! But I wonder if it's the perfect fit for freestyle for me. They're not very snug, maybe I have slim feet. When I move my foot to the front of the toebox, so when my toes touch the front, I can put my finger behind my heel. Should it be like this or does this mean I should've taken 1 size smaller (size 42)?

Maybe in other words: Are your toes supposed to touch the front of the toebox? Or is a little space (1 finger) in length the way to go?

Personally, I would call that "too large". For a slalom skate, the tips of my toes are normally touching the front of the boot or veeeery close to it, even when the heel is seated in the very back of the boot.

With the Igor, if properly sized, you should generally not have any movement of the foot inside the skate. At least for regular-dimensioned feet, I guess.

People often wear a bit larger FR skate. Especially if they are jumping big gaps or something. Don't want to bruise the toes on landing.

Do you know your the length of each foot in centimeters (without socks!)? That's the best way to determine your proper Seba skate size.

My feet are 27,7 cm. Problem is the size charts, every size chart on the internet seems different. I recently got the official size chart directly from Seba. Followed the 'length for insole', which is 277 on a size 43, but I should've followed the 'size for liner', which is 28 on a size 43 and 27,5 on size 42. But even though it's the official size chart, I still don't trust it. Because it categorizes Igor, Trix, WFSC, CJ, SX and Light Carbon all under the same size table. Even though it's knows that Igor runs larger then Trix/WFSC (at least that's what I read on this forum).
