Default Hi! Slalom/Freeskater here

I just got a pair of Seba Trix 2 and Seba FR1s. I started slalom two years ago by rockering my inline hockey skates 76-80-80-76. Last year I bought some Seba Igor Pros with the rockered frame but after 10ish hours of skating over a period of months I just couldn't use them. I would get NASTY blisters after 15 minutes of hard skating.

Anyways! Yay, the two new skates cost less combined than the Igor Pros and are absolutely fantastic. Both skates have Seba Deluxe Rockered frames and I'm surprised from what I've read to find out that I absolutely prefer the FR1s in Slalom and the Trix 2 for Freeskating.

I grew up figure-skating on ice and switching to inline was really natural. I stopped skating in my pre-teens and picked up inline as a young adult two years ago. I live in California and it's certainly not very popular here haha.

So yeah, hello

Nice

Can you tell me why you like the FR1 better for slalom then the Trix2?
It sounds a bit weird because FR is not a slalom specific skate, they're not as tight and reactive as a Trix
