Default Tempe Town Park or Scottsdale Greenway

I'm visiting Phoenix soon and wonder if any locals can tell me which of the above places is better for skating. The Greenway looks like there is more mileage, but how are the respective surfaces? I'll be skating early(6 AM), so hopefully people on the trails will not be a problem. Any parking hints also appreciated.

The only time I skated in Tempe was when we could skate at ASU.

If Tempe Town Park is located at Tempe Town Lake I'm pretty sure you can skate to the greenbelt from there.

I haven't skated at the greenbelt for 10 years but when I did most of the sidewalks went under the major roads.

Parking isn't much of an issue, the greenbelt has plenty of parking lots.

If you're interested there is a skateboard park at the greenbelt by McDowell rd.

I skated both and preferred the Tempe town park as the surface was better and there were more stretches where you could develop a lot of speed safely. However, both had plenty of areas that were wet from watering, so early morning skating was somewhat problematic.
