@Foot2big: Thanks!!!! It would be great to meet you guys and skate! I have no idea, when I finally will manage to go - I guess it will be when my daughter has settled down in Denver!

@Rollerdudette: I understand what you mean! I have a hell of respect for the spine and have not skated it much after I tore a ligament (= op + 2 month off work). Keep it up! It will all come back! You are lucky to go skating 4 days/week!

I sometimes skate in the morning, around 08:00 am when I drop my kids to daycare and my wife off to school. Then sometimes, I go around 09:00pm, w/ my friend who works as a postman (delivers morning papers n stuff), since he cant go earlier . And I skate around 4-6 times a week. Though I still got the small thing in the back of my head, "self protection" and I havent been able to get rid of it which can be seen in my rolling, havent been able to do anything big / rad yet, but I guess itll come eventually.

Has any skated GPX skatepark In Dallas / ftworth? Ahh..those good times

EDIT: Oh, and im unemployed due to the fu**** economy crisis sh**

Ulle, is your tag name Finnish? "Ulle"? What does it mean? Or is it a real name?

Also, let me see a vid of your rolling. I cannot remember if I've seen vid of you. You can check me out on Youtube under the name biffsk8er.

Did the space bar actually break or did the little metal lever underneath come loose?

There are so many different types of keyboards. They do not all have little metal levers. However, with mine it was the plastic clasp that held the metal wire (most likely the one that you mean).

I've had keyboards where you can remove all the keys yourself, in order to clean underneath. With the one that broke, I could see a dark spot under my space key that needed cleaning. So as I've done in the past a million times with other keyboards, I pried the key off in order to clean.

NEWS FLASH! With this keyboard, it breaks the grasping clasp which is made of extremely thin cheap plastic. I now have a new keyboard.

Lesson learned.

I have had great luck with logitech. Cheap and just works. Everything else is more expensive and just works, mostly. Don't much care fore MS as it is WAY more expensive and works until you upgrade your computer.

If some of our senior members can modify a walker with wheels on each leg of the support device, then they might be able to continue skating well into their 90's. Can you imagine an elderly person carving around a bowl with such a setup?
