Default Skated the Bay St. Louis Bridge in Mississippi

Well, that's two bridges off my Bucket List in one week. This one was much more fun and mellow than the Biloxi, MS bridge last weekend. The wind was blowing so hard up the West side that I skated 9 mph up, and 9mph down. The East side descent I hit a relaxing 16mph and slalomed to keep from going faster. Didn't want to rush anyway.

Here is the Strava link: https://www.strava.com/activities/854303824

And here are a few photos:

Expansion joints were barely noticeable as I rolled over them.

OK...that's all the bridges I am going to skate for a while. I will make this bridge a regular thing since it is just an hour drive away and not too terrifying.

Here is a view from the top looking West. I "air-braked" down this side against the wind for a relaxing 9mph drop.

Cheers!

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a fun time.

Living here in Pittsburgh, we have many bridges but nothing like what you've pictured. Ours are starting to become more bike and skate friendly though.
