Default Mezcal - not to be confused with Tequila

If you get the good stuff, it has a deep smoky taste and a very mellow bite. Two fingers of Los Nuehaves and half a finger of Sweet and sour mixer. Crushed ice.

A very nice spin on this one was:

Lemon Sour mixer (Whole Foods 1872 Brand)
The Mezcal above, a lemon, crushed ice and a couple tblspoons of stevia. Blend it up like a margarita and serve in a salted glass..

Davearitas.

Update:
2oz of Las Nauhales Mezcal
2oz of Italian Blood red soda
3/4 ounce of Cointreu
1/2 ounce of sweet and sour.
Squeeze lemon and salt the edge.

Mezcalritas!

Seems like a lot of work for a drink. Bourbon and Coke (read; Jim Beam or Wild Turkey 101 & any carbonated flavored beverage of my choice) or BORU Vodka & 50/50 Grapefruit/orange juice is all I need. No need for extra effort for buzz

Oh, I'm sure your tequila is the real deal alright.

This stuff is on a whole 'nother level. It's got a smoky taste to it, and doesn't even really taste like tequila.

Probably the smoothest and cleanest spirits I've ever had.
