Which threads in the SkateLog Roller Derby Forum would you recommend to be included in a list of the most interesting, useful, or significant discussions in that forum? I started by nominating a few threads and I will add more to this list as you guys recommend them:

build a derby skate by price range.
But we do need to do some updating I think. That was such a helpful post when I first got back into skating.
Just a thought.

Default Uniform

Show us your roller derby uniform....a good roller derby uniform is hard to find. I know I just spent the last 2 months coming up with one for my league. Finally got a custom one made at www.ciscoathletic.com.

Can you sticky the Customizing/Painting your skates thread? IT has some great links and useful information.

Picking a derby name and how to see if it's taken (link to the international roster) should be a link. I'm head of recruiting for our league, and every year I get more emails from fresh meat about their skater names than anything else.

this thread has a really nice basic write up about wheels from jimduong and IMHO would be a great sticky for newer skaters.http://www.skatelogforum.com/forums/...ad.php?t=28910

Hi Kathie,

Add the above title to your Sticky Post List.

And as a First entry this tread from Terror Australis

http://skatelogforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32822

We do have other treads where we have watched a Derby Gal start totally flat on her face and then slowly get better. Other Treads where they continually get cut yet keep coming back. Treads that tell a long story starting with difficulty would be good.

Yours in Skating, MA/NY Skating Dave

Edit-01: Another Tread to Add, when you get around to it. I like my title better than "No Excuses" Yet Open

Default Pivot Pin Post

Got a couple of requests to sticky this one. Pretty definitive pivot pin adjusting post. Write ups by me, G.No, Doc and the Snyder Pivot Pin write up. Might want to cross-sticky this over in the Quad Forum as well.
