Default Slalom in Seoul

Hi,
I'll be moving to Seoul for couple of months and so far haven't been successful in locating a skating spot there - the language barrier plays a role here.
Could anybody advice upon good slalom skating spots in Seoul. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hey toughhey,

You might want to post this message to the "Slalom Cone Skating Forum", as it will then be more likely that a slalomer that knows the answer sees your question.

Also, I'll check with some Korean friends to see if they have some suggested slalom spots. I'm sure there are several, as they have such a big slalom community.

Default Seoul skating

The website " www.Drspark.net " has many listings. Two good parks for slalom are Yeouido and Olympic Parks.

Cody Winter (Park) is an english speaking Korean living in Busan who can help you out, pm me and I'll give you his contact info

Awesome.

Yeah, I sorta have a dream to skate in Olympic Park one day. Some of my favorite skating videos are from there.

to ultrask8: cool that's exactly what I was hoping for ... olympic park seems really cool to skate and it seems there might be quite a skating crowd there regularly.

I don't know whether I need to bother Cody as he is living quite far, I'll try my luck at Olympic park as the starting point. Btw. is there an EN version of DrSparks website? I see only Korean text ...

to GregT: actually this is like the 3rd forum where I've posted the question and don't wanna "spread my problem" any more ... but if you'll find anything through your friends I'd be gladly to have more info. Olympic park looks cool but is gonna be quite far from where we've rented our flat. Maybe there'd be a spot even closer ... even though Olympic park really seems cool to skate (judging by Google photos).

thanks a lot guys

Cody used to live in Seoul, speaks English perfectly, and knows absolutely everything about all types of skating . He regularly travels to Seoul (4 hrs by fast train from Busan.)
