Another option in you don't like to see scratches on the carbon fibre heel is to ask bont to trim them the same as the fibreglass ones around the heel...............I know you can't see the cool carbon fibre you paid extra for but you still get the light weight and stiffness.

Get them in plain black, buy a tin of Kiwi boot polish and they will look good for ever.

My new QRC's already have a few battle scars ,white scratches on the heels and a bit of scuffing around the toes and I completely agree with Nick ,"skate em like ya stole em !!"

Good idea, I was thinking gaffer tape, but it might not look so good on white, not that it really matters...
I think the new ones they are doing for Derby have the leather around the heel.

That's my plan if I can ever scrape up the $$ for a set. Seems like there's always something else I've gotta pay for first. Gonna have to make it happen soon, though; my 351's are falling apart.

On the link that you listed the Hybrid Leather and the Hybrid Carbon have the same description; the only thing that is different the the price..

Hybrid Leather:

The Hybrid has been designed for skaters who want a cross between a derby and race boot. This boot is low cut like a race boot but it features a 2mm thick Australian leather outer skin which is extremely tough.
