Default Any quad skaters in Dallas?

I used to skate outdoors a LOT in college...practically lived on my skates. As I recall, they were Reidell (they came 'pre-assembled', so I have no idea about the details on the wheels, etc.) and I paid about $150 for them back in the late 70's. Unfortunately, that was 30+ years ago.
I just dropped 40 pounds and decided to get back to it. Now I can't find my skates. I may have gotten rid of them when I moved a couple of years ago. I've tried the inline skates, but can't really get the hang of them. I just want to get back on the street with some old-fashioned quads.
I'm in the Dallas area and haven't had much luck searching online for a place to shop for skates. I'd like to find out if any of your readers have the scoop on where to find some good skates and good advice. I know the technology must have changed quite a bit since the last time I stood tall in the boots.

Talking RE: Dallas

Dallas & the metroplex is a big place where ya at?

Interskate In Lewisville is pretty centrally located and there is a skate shop directly in front of their building, not sure what their hours are, but usually when we get over here on Tuesday and Friday nights at 7:15 they are already closed!! Bill J skates there and if you go on tuesdays you will not have to look for him, he will find you!!

Skate Technology really has not changed at all since you have been gone, In fact people will tell you all the best stuff was from 20+ years ago!!!

I live in East Dallas and just got back from skating at Pop's Broadway skateland in Mesquite!

Plenty of places to skate in the metroplex!!
