L.A. Friday Night Skate - 10 Year Anniversary
The 10th anniversary celebration of the Los Angeles Friday Night Skate will take place on Friday October 20, 2006. All of the original founders will be there, along with the usual crowd of skaters, the Venice Beach Skate Dancers, and a group from the San Francisco Friday Night Skate in Northern California.
If you have ever considered joining the Los Angeles Friday Night Skate, this is the night to do it. - Kathie |

That would be great Rosie! A bit of information about the Los Angeles Friday Night Skate... it is a medium fast skate through the city at night, and there is one small hill near the beginning. Friday night skaters should be comfortable skating on a road with traffic, skating up and down curbs, and they should have very good stopping skills. Those skills are important for all of the night skates around the world.

Hmm...we might just have to wait a bit for that then, or at least doing it with my daughter, that is. Right now, I'm not sure she's quite got the skills yet, but when she does, we'll join everyone!

Lets see, 12 hours to LA, leave Friday after work, drive thru the night, crash during the day in LA and skate that night! Get up early and return to Alb in time to go to work Monday. Let me give it some thought! Then again I guess I could fly.
