Default Houston Inline Marathon update :: Sept 20, 2006

[originally posted to the Houston-IM-news mailing list]

Hello friends,

Thanks to all of you for your interest in the inaugural Houston Inline Marathon. I'm writing to give you a status update on the event.

As many of you may already know, we suffered a major setback over the summer, when the major property owner at our intended race site suddenly withdrew their support for the event. We tried to overcome this by finding another site, but there wasn't much time, and unfortunately things just haven't worked out. Therefore, we've decided to let go of 2006, and turn our attention to producing the inaugural Houston Inline Marathon as a high-quality event for next season. I hope you'll be able to join us then!

We look forward to sharing more information about next year's event with all of you as it becomes available over the coming months.

Again, a huge THANK-YOU to all of you who've been inquiring about the Houston Inline Marathon and planning to come and be a part of it. We very much appreciate your continued interest and support!

~ Justin
