Since my last post, I skated 3 times at Hoffman, 2 times at the lodge and twice at home.

I skated every day for the past 31 days and during that time I skated 46 times.

I crossed the million calorie mark sometime back in late March. (that's 4 years)

That would be equivalent to two boxes of crispy creme donuts. Big boxes like this one.

Went to lift last night and just wasn't there mentally, a bit depressed and generally aimless. Didn't end up lifting. Pulled the bar a couple of times, which I occasionally do because it sits loaded on the floor for DLs pretty much all the time. Nice to know I can still lift 250 if I want. Squats, though...

Dude, y'alright? Hope everything clears up over there and you get to skate a lot more! Your post the other day of 15 miles in 75 minutes is haulling asss! How does that stack historically?

F2B, thanks for asking. Life is a bit crazy at the moment with some big changes in the recent past and near future mixing things up. Not sleeping due to two small children being sick doesn't help. I digress on my pitty party...

As for that pace, historically, at least for this year, that average is on the slower end. My 10 milers have been above 13mph average, but this 15 mile trip was around 12.5. There was a lot of wind that day, and I hadn't skated or gotten good cardio work in for a while. I haven't been able to train much because of the aforementioned issues.

That said, I did get a lift in on Tuesday night. My usual Rear Squat, Poliquin Step-Up, Split Squat; RDLs, DLs, and chest dips. Squats at 200, DLs at 250, all 2x6. Dips 2x8 at body weight. Worked on getting deep in the squats and having more consistent movement and back position with the DLs.

Yesterday I got an hour and a half in at the lodge,
Today I got an hour and 8 minutes.

It looked exactly like this:

An hour at hoffman, and then 3-1/2 hours at the lodge. My calorie count for yesterday was right at 4200.

Today an hour and 22 minutes at hoffman followed by 2 hours at the lodge. Calorie count for today was 3144.

Lot of sitting, eating and drinking this evening, because more is in store for tomo.

God willing...

I got to the lodge at 10am.
I left for home at 7:30pm

As close as I can come, I skated half the time I was there.
Around 4 and a half hours. 4 day weekend started well. I hope it ends as well as it started.

Exhaustion.

Pretty much same story as yesterday. Except we did a late skate. Didn't finish up till after midnight....

3 hours of hard skate.

F2B, you exhaust me. I got some Porter curls in last night, but only one set. Oh, I DL'd 250 on the barbell for two reps last night just to remind myself I could do it... Weather is finally drying out. I may get to skate soon.

My streak ended at 44/67.

I got to the spot, got one boot laced up and this happened. Pingpong sized hail.
https://plus.google.com/+DaveTec223/posts/3d4ZsB4f77p

I landed on my thigh the last session anyway, so I didn't press my luck. After the hail, came the threat of tornados and rain.....streak over.

Made up for it today tho. 48 minutes at the hoffman, and then got rained out, but the sun came out and me and a homie sessioned my back yard ramp thusly:

Blasted thru the last two days with inside fun, and headed for 3 spots right now. Rains are over, and skate time is on!
