sorry to hear you are having issues with Bont. I (and 4 other skaters I am close to) have always had good results when dealing with them. Lots of pairs, both Ice and Inline. One thing to note... we set up with a "shop" to kind of be cognizant of the skates and coordinate thru the shop. We've had breaking carbon boots replaced, no questions asked. We've had work done on boots as part of 'initial support' of purchase.
I do not know if something substantial has changed at Bont with regard to supporting their products or if their communications channel is buggered... but we've always felt we've been treated well.
(By the way... set my 'snark' filter to high today. I know I've had issues.)
