hmm, interesting... I disagree with Armadillo on a number of points (especially with his use of the word elite) but a point for quads is they are more casual... most inline skates fasten up like some sort of chiropractic brace. My own skates taking between 5 and 10 minutes to lace up >_<

admittedly not always the case especially not with speed skates which although not overly difficult to use are expensive and take a bit more commitment than a once weekly visit to a rink.
