Default Heat Moldable Quarter

The moldable quarter is found only on the right skate because most skating is done counter clockwise, thus exerting the most pressure while pushing.

The moldable quarter is glued into the boot. Reidell will remove all or just a part of it for you.

Also, Reidell told me my friends boot was likely never properly heat molded. I agree, as all she did was put the boot in the oven, but I'm sure she didn't know what she was doing.

As per Reidell: using a hair dryer, heat the quarter until it softens. Put the boot on and lace as tightly as possible. Repeat as necessary until desired result is obtained.
