How did the op get on with the R3? I’ve always felt that the plates they use are too long and too far back behind the ankle . I wouldn’t ever skate a box fresh pair of skates. They are just bolted together so nothing rattles. They need to be taken apart and put back together with some sort of care and attention. As for the Caymen wheels, the least said about those the better. Rock hard, no grip whatsoever on any surface. Reidell should actually put some half decent wheels on them for what would only be a small extra cost
