Down from last year, as was expected. I deliberately cut my commute from 3-4 round trips per week to a more consistent two. Still 6063 down to 5245 isn't that much. I think the key is consistency. I was often able to switch days when weather or other complications interfered with the primary day. Thus, I did two round trips nearly every week.

Average skating speed is down a bit. I think this is due to this being an A2A year. More of my miles came from longer and slower workouts. The loss of group skating workouts hurt there too.

2019 started out OK. Then, just as the racing season was hitting its stride, things went horribly wrong with a major crash at Northshore. Everything came to a halt as my injuries prevented me from doing much of anything. I took to doing and recording walks because that is what I could do. Even with recording that nonsense, mileage is down nearly 30% from last year and I can feel that in my fitness.

I'm only beginning to crawl out of that. Today I skated for the first time since the crash. What I learned is that it is possible but my back isn't really ready for this. Maybe in a couple of weeks. In the mean time I will be doing more with scooter. I've never had a lot of respect for the scooter but push scooting seems to be good for my back and it is something I can fully do now.

As usual, "Gym and Fitness Equipment" is actually the push scooter and "Other" is skating.
